Just listened to “Come Healing” Fr,. Vincent; thought it was lovely and would make a good prayer for Lent. Also the piece on First Holy Communion on this week’s Newsletter very good and hopefully get the message across. Might be an idea to get the parents together as a group and talk to them because as you say no child wants to feel inferior or different on their special day. You never know a lot of parents might feel very relieved that they are not pressurised to make such a fashion parade of the celebration as things stand and times hard at the moment. The Sacrament is a free grace filled gift from God and should be accepted as such.
